Welcome to PICA!
Where professional insurance communicators meet.
Savannah Smiles Bring Renewed Energy and Focus
Hello! I hope everyone who joined us in Savannah was able to get home without too much difficulty. We were blessed with beautiful weather, terrific speakers and an engaged group for our 2013 PICA Workshop for Insurance Communicators.
Thank you so much for making this a valuable resource year after year! We’ll soon have recaps of the various sessions posted on this site, along with photos from the workshop, so plan to stop by often in the coming weeks. You can also learn about PICA's new board for 2014. Your surveys have pointed us toward a location for 2014, which we hope to announce in the near future.

I know everyone is busy and, as we learned from our agents’ panel, it’s best to keep things succinct and direct. You can now find recaps on some of our presentations by selecting the Blog tab at the top of this page, and be on the lookout for information on where we'll be headed in 2014 soon. I hope you’ve already been able to incorporate some of what we learned in Savannah into your daily job.
Talk to you soon,
Patrick Faherty, Administrative Committee Chair

Who needs PICA?
If your job is communicating to an insurance industry audience through publications, either print or digital, PICA is an organization of insurance professionals facing these same challenges day after day.
If your challenge is getting your company’s message to associates, agents and consumers, PICA can help you find new avenues and means of communication.
Why? Because PICA is run by members who also work in the industry and have faced many of the same issues you deal with on a regular basis. If the roar of legislators, consumer groups and sometimes your own staff have you searching for answers, a PICA membership can be invaluable in providing counsel and direction. You’ll meet other insurance professionals who share the same unique position in their company as you do in yours.
So who needs PICA? You!
